Overview

CISCO has been providing Fund Management services since its incorporation in 1982. It is the oldest and at present one of the largest institutional fund managers in Cyprus. The Company's client base includes provident funds and pension funds, insurance and investment companies listed on the CSE, other companies and high net-worth individuals. Upon the enactment of mutual fund legislation, CISCO's Fund Management Department will act as the appointed Investment Manager of the mutual funds which will be set up by the Bank of Cyprus.

Fund management by CISCO provides investors with the following advantages:

• The identification of market trends, opportunities and companies with investment value, on the basis of in-depth research.
• The design of an optimally diversified portfolio, whereby part is earmarked for security of income and part is invested for capital growth, so that the best return is achieved in line with the client's specified risk profile.
• Regular client briefings and detailed portfolio performance reports at pre-agreed intervals.

All investment decisions made by the Company's prfessionals are based on the investment objectives and strategy specified in the investment management agreement, which is entered into with the client. The agreement grants CISCO full authority to buy and sell securities on the client's behalf, as well as exercise rights and warrants, reinvest dividends etc.
